Well, Legacy games being bad is subjective. I feel they could be designed smarter so they can be fully replayed, although this would mean a lot of work resetting everything. I honestly feel Legacy games are expensive throw away games that waste resources. This is a great guide. Small problem is I came from a link that shows this video as "the story of the game" which lead me to think this was going to be about the making of the game, and/or the game's lore. So this isn't what I expected the video to be and was less useful to me in this way.

Thanks for this. There is new content coming out for this game in November/December this year and looking forward to that.

What do you think about the balancing of the Heros from the upgrade kit compared to for example the indian scout or the gunslinger from the basic game? Or in other words are the new heros powercreeps?

38:00 We can play our starter cards that don't have prerequisites? The rule book doesn't say anything about playing cards in your starting hand or how many can be played, only buy a card and play if possible. The rule book doesn't give any examples, just throws you in and figure it out on your own. * I messed up and missed it during the set up.

This is the most unethical board game company ever. I pledged for hyperspace back in 2019 and no one has recieved it yet. INFACT all that we have gotten was an email saying they are going to use our pledge money to funs another kickstarter campaign. How could they think that is an ethical way of doing business. I WANT MY MONEY BACK

Is extinction the only expansion for this game? Would love to try it with different great old ones!

It's so late, but excellent review of my favorite game :) Indeed every time I introduce this game to new people I see that it starts with bloodshed and suddenly they realize it was not worth it at all. Few people mention it, but I think there is a bit of diplomacy and a lot of table talk in this game.

My copy of deadzone has been in the box for 10 years... just cracked it open and have assembled five factions.. opened all the cards...now ready to start on the buildings...I have a load of random stuff from the kickstarter including bonus building sprues, a mouse mat playing surface, mercenaries and forge fathers on motorbikes! Searched you tube and found your videos and also the Esoteric order of gamers vids for first edition really helpful. Thanks a million!

I know your video is 9 months old, but for someone who is new to Scarface 1920, and only want 1 of the 2 gangs, which one would you recommend (most fun, easier to learn etc)? My group and I will at max only be 5 players, so i can save some money (Price, VAT, shipping) by only choosing one of the gangs + Bloody Business. The Golden Oak gang video seemed to be more detailed, so I guess they are perhaps a bit harder(?) to play? Or is the Red Dragon better if someone wants the playstyle of being "winning in silence"? Great videos tho! :)

The liquor board on the gamefound page looks like you can slot the cases into the board (like the cubes on the Boss board). I hope the final product does too if that's a prototype you have there. It doesn't look like you can on that. Is the Liquor track you have there double layered?

At 16:00 in the Playthrough Stephanie's Bodyguards move 2 Police - one into Capone's District where ha has presence and the other into another Distict. Shouldn't Capone be required to pay the $2 bribe ?
